Do You Use CPAP To Treat Your Sleep Apnea? Are You Still Sleepy During the day?

Study Description:
Male and Female adults:  consider joining a clinical research study comparing the safety, tolerability, and effects of two approved medications. Qualified adults must be between the ages of 18 and 55 years old, have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and using CPAP, and have excessive daytime sleepiness. Study participation includes two daytime office visits and multiple stays at our Manhattan sleep clinic over a period of 2 months.

Length of study: 2 daytime office visits and multiple inpatient stays ranging from 3 overnights to 15 overnights

Eligible participants must:

• Be 18 to 55 years old
• Have Sleep Apnea and use CPAP regularly for at least the past 2 weeks
• Have excessive daytime sleepiness
• Be in general good health

Eligible participants may receive:

• Study related medical examination
• Financial Compensation up to $8,475

Healthy Adults with Sleep Apnea

Length of Study: 6 daytime office visits and 1 overnight visit over a period of approximately 2-3 months.

Study Description: Male and Female adults that have been diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea are wanted for a clinical research study of an investigational medication. Qualifying participants must have been using CPAP treatment for at least 2 months. This study involves 6 daytime office visits and 1 overnight visit over a period of approximately 2-3 months.  Financial compensation and study related medical exams will be provided for qualified participants. Health insurance is not required and there is no cost for participation.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be between 18 and 64 years of age
• Have Obstructive Sleep Apnea
• Be using CPAP treatment for at least 2 months  
• Have a customary bedtime between the hours of 9pm-12am
• Be in good health

• Study-related medical examination
• Financial Compensation
